Step-by-step guide

  1. To increase double crochet in the next stitch, start by inserting your hook.

  2. Yarn over, pull through.

  3. Yarn over and pull through the two loops on your hook.

  4. Now into the same stitch, repeat the double crochet technique.

  5. You’ve now added one stitch to the row.

And that’s how you increase a stitch in crochet!
