In this video we'll demonstrate how to complete a single cross stitch.

Step-by-step guide
Step 1:
Using the marker on your pattern grid for guidance, begin by making the centre stitches at the centre fold of your fabric.
Always refer to the centre of your fabric to enable you to correctly position your design.
Step 2:
Bring your threaded needle up from the reverse of the Aida 'one'; and then across and down, through the diagonally opposite hole; 'two'. This is known as a half stitch.
Step 3:
To complete the cross stitch, come up through 'three', and back down through 'four'.
Step 4:
You have completed one stitch!
