Step-by-step guide

Also referred to as knit 2 together.

Insert the right needle into two stitches.
With the yarn behind the needles, wrap it around the tip of the right needle anti-clockwise and draw the yarn through to create a knit stitch as normal.
You have now decreased the stitch.

And that’s how you decrease a stitch by knitting two stitches together at the same time!
